Our contract solicitation system is unique in this industry. Most systems previously in use by contractors were based on simple publication of summary files provided after contract actions had taken place. In addition many of these previously used services simply bought copies of the same data from other service providers, which also provided delays and provided no assurances that opportunities were not missed.

APLS' contract notification system is an automated, intelligent agent designed in house by Defense Solutions Group which actively pursues opportunites in real time from over five hundred locations and across multiple proprietary, military and public sources of information. In addition to more timely information and tight integration with recent award history, cross reference, etc. the APLS solicitation matching system also provides an actual copy of the solicitation itself as well as a comprehensive summary about the national stock number (NSN). Each feature is presented to the user in an easy to read interface with links to all pertinent information and external systems.

Timely, complete and accurate reporting of solications are essential to contractors today. Fast buys and IDPO's have changed the landscape in this industry and contractors using systems which produce incomplete, inaccurate or delayed information will lose opportunities.

Feature overview:

• Complete information source : System integration with APLS allows the active solicitations from DoD to be presented in tandem with our research databases and current inventory databases. And by using a web browser based interface, it allows one-click accessibility to related information.
• Finding targeted opportunities automatically : Your inventory (and/or search criteria) is automatically cross-referenced and possible matches based on part numbers, NIIN's, mil-specs, etc. are summarized for your daily review. Also you can have the system monitor opportunities by CAGE, stock class, keywords or combinations of these to focus on the correct opportunities to help you maintain and grow your government contracting revenue.
• Hands off operation : Our system is based on active technology. Once you have submitted your inventory and/or search criteria the rest is done by APLS. Each day without demand you will receive a detailed report of all active solicitations that apply (only) to your criteria. Then utilize the online features of APLS for quick, easy access to research databases about each individual item requested.
• System Availability : APLS collects information from many sources and delivery methods and is not as sensitive to a single point of failure as other government sites or private products. In our research we found that many of the government sites and private companies attempting to offer similar services were off-line or unavailable quite often or their product was dependent on a single file or outside information source which produced delays for their users. APLS was designed to monitor dozens of networks and locations and brings all the necessary information into one central location managed by APLS which results in earlier reporting of opportunities, consistent system availability and independence from networks that have less than optimal system performance.
• Multiple Search Options : Subscribers can search the entire database of open solicitations at any time by CAGE, mfr. part number, NSN, stock class, keywords or combinations of these to locate the opportunities that are important to you.
• Open architecture : Our management of multiple information channels allows it to monitor and add sources of RFQ's quickly. All disparate information is standardized by APLS so that the same standards of presentation and notification can be maintained across many unique and varied sources.
• Document availability : Due to the changing nature of DoD electronic commerce, many (if not all) services that provide solicitation matching services have been reduced to only providing summary information to its subscribers or at best offering a link to another system with an unmanaged/unknown state. APLS provides the actual complete solicitation document via our network.
• No special software or hardware : If you have access to the Internet, then you have everything you'll need to use APLS.
• Flat rate pricing : Pay one subscription price and have access to the complete system. No per solicitation or per connection charges whatsoever.
